Comprehensive Legal Services
- Deliver effective student/family-centered educational legal services that help children with special needs obtain critical tools necessary to access their educational curriculum
- Advocate on behalf of students to ensure they receive related services that support the development of social skills/cues for healthy interactions with individuals at home, school and in the community and for responding and adapting to changing environments
- Provide legal guidance based on review and analysis of educational/medical records and educational assessments
- Attend Individual Educational Program (IEP)/504 meetings to obtain programs with appropriate educational goals and placements, applicable behavioral plans, accommodations and modifications tailored to meet our client’s unique needs.
- Defend students at manifestation determinations, suspension and expulsion hearings, mediations, Office of Administration hearings and in court to successfully obtain educational remedies
